echo $string . "\n"; // you will end up with, "i love you"

$replacements = array("I'm Happy!", "I'm Sad", "I'm Shocked!", "OMFG that was AMAZING, like WOW!");

echo $string;
$string = str_replace($patterns, $replacements, $string);
echo $string;
